How long after you get your ears pierced to wait until I can wear earrings?
i pierced my ears months 8-9. Since then I always had ASPARAGUS! 24KT and 18 karat gold and pierced in the i r i clininc wearing only earrings – 1. Is it safe to use earrings? 1CE I tried and it felt like my hole is being started, and the excision -. 2 Is it safe to go swimming without any earrings. will close the holes? will I get an infection? How long I can swim without earrings -? 3 is normal to have this strange smell, a stinky sweet smell of his outstanding after u wearing? I removed mine and smelt them (curiosity) and smelled the sweet smell stinkish. normal? Thanx a lot. Also, how I can know if it is safe to use earrings that are not gold? without running the risk of infection or smthng!

1. Your ear piercings should be healed enough to wear earrings. Just make sure it is not too heavy. Some people can not wear earrings because they are heavy delicate lobes, so stick to jewelry weight if you feel like it's going to tear. 2. You will not get an infection from swimming without your jewelry, just remember to put them in the afternoon. 3. I have the same thing my earrings, and I've had my ears pierced since I was little and it seems a very natural thing for the ears to produce it. Make sure the drill sites are not red and irritated, however, one could say that I got infected and need to be careful with them (in which case, do not use heavy earrings, and not take them to swim or you can close above.) And finally! Yes, provided they are not allergic to other types of metal (sterling silver is good), go for it. Do not get sticky / fake metal earrings, though, or you're just asking for rust infection. ;]
